I believe they compete with with Blackface Valais sheep in the cute stakes, especially when they are carrying a full fleece. Slow growing they, present in the hogget meat bracket rather than lamb, and the meat is tasty and slightly darker than lamb.
We currently maintain a small flock on the holding and are looking to expand over the next few years. Meat will be available from 2017.
